Emergency Assistance

In case of an emergency, you may contact the number listed below. Kindly contact relevant Saudi local authorities immediately and then inform the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate and provide your full name and date of birth.

 

Local first responders in Saudi Arabia:

During regular business hours, the American Citizen Services (ACS) units can be reached at the phone numbers listed above.

In the evening and on weekends (Friday and Saturday), U.S. citizens can call the nearest embassy or consulate and reach a duty officer for assistance with serious emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Please note that we can only replace lost and stolen passports during regular office hours.

  • General guidance

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Units in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah and Dharan) operate by appointment only for all customers needing non-emergency services, including passports, reports of birth, and notary services. Scheduling appointments allows us to provide more efficient service to the public.

If requesting services for more than one person, each person must have their own appointment.

Please arrive in the section 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Electronic devices are not allowed into the building.
